From May 26 to 28, 2025, the annual academic meeting of the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Professional Committee of the China Ordnance Society was successfully held in Nanjing.
As a special forum of the "Fifth International Conference on Research Frontiers of Additive Manufacturing" (RAAM2025), this annual meeting was themed "Additive Manufacturing Technology and Innovative Development of the Ordnance Industry", attracting more than 70 representatives from more than 40 units including aerospace, China Academy of Materials Science and Engineering, weapons research institutes and universities.
Many experts shared cutting-edge results: Researcher Tang Ye of the Second Academy of Aerospace Engineering discussed the application of additive manufacturing in aerospace structures, Professor Xu Hong of North University of China introduced multi-material composite manufacturing technology, Senior Engineer Wang Chao of China Academy of Materials Science and Engineering focused on additive manufacturing of metal components in the nuclear field, and Senior Engineer Tao Jianquan of China Ordnance Group demonstrated new progress in metal binder jetting technology.
The conference built a high-level platform for the integration of industry, academia and research in additive manufacturing technology in the ordnance industry, and helped to make breakthroughs in future equipment innovation.
