    They share identical chemical composition (AlSi12, 11.0–13.0% Silicon), only differing in form, production process, applicable equipment, working efficiency and price.

    • ER4047 TIG Rod (Straight Welding Rod) AWS designation: R4047; fixed-length straight bars, common length 1000mm, diameters 2.0/2.4/3.0/4.0mm

    • ER4047 Spool MIG Wire AWS designation: ER4047; wound on plastic spools/drums, regular diameters 0.8/1.0/1.2/1.6mm, 2.0mm available upon request

    Mechanical performance, weld fluidity and crack resistance are exactly the same for both forms. Only physical shape varies. 2.0mm size is available for both styles, yet straight rods cost much more than the same-diameter spool wire. Separate quotations are required for export offers.
